RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

Job Title: Fire Engineer & Senior Fire Engineer

Location: Clerkenwell, London

Salary Package: Competitive, to be discussed.

Job Summary:

 

The successful applicant will apply knowledge gained in previous fire engineering roles to a variety of projects across all sectors. The applicant will have the ability, with guidance and support, to develop fire safety strategies and fire engineering solutions from first principles. This role will be largely self-sufficient and the applicant will require a high degree of self-motivation and a pro-active approach to their work practices. The successful applicant will work as part of RAWFiRE’s London based team to deliver safe, efficient and intelligent fire engineered solutions to our clients.
An ideal candidate should satisfy the following criteria:
 Hold an accredited degree in fire engineering or other equivalent discipline to a minimum 2:1 standard.
 Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the fire safety engineering in the case of a fire engineer and 4 years’ experience in the case of a senior fire engineering role.
 Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Have an ability to work independently and seek out opportunities to assist others within RAWFiRE.
 Have a desire to work toward Chartered Engineering status.

RAWFIRE are a boutique fire engineering consultancy with a focus on client relationships and delivering a high quality service. Our business was founded in Australia in 2006. We have a team of 20 fire engineers across three offices, Melbourne, Sydney and London. We work on a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, commercial, educational, industrial and mass transportation.
The London office was established in 2012 and we now require excellent fire engineers to join our expanding team and help deliver the level of service our clients expect from us.
